Dan Beeker

Biography: With more than 40 years of experience in electronic system design and EMC, Daniel Beeker provides applications support for NXP Automotive customers worldwide. Daniel also supports NXP customers globally with special function development tools and instrumentation (almost all of the “LFxxx” tools on the NXP website). Daniel also specializes in EMC and signal integrity design techniques for systems and PCBs, especially in low layer count designs. Daniel teaches field based design techniques at NXP and industry conferences worldwide. Daniel is also involved with NXP IC package design and IC development tool teams to support improved EMC performance. Specialties include: Microprocessor and Microcontroller development tools, PCB layout techniques for EMC and signal integrity, Automotive applications specialist. Daniel was a keynote speaker at the first Altium Live 2017 Conference, and received an ACE Award for Speaker of the Year from UBM Publishing and Embedded Systems Conferences.

Biography: Mr. Yoshiaki Maruyama graduated Tokyo University of Science in 2003 and entered NEC Solution Innovators, Ltd. He has been developing EMIStream for 14 years. He is the Certified EMC Design Engineer by KEC & iNARTE. He served as an EMC committee member of JIEP.

Biography: Bob Carter is Vice President of Marketing, Business Development, and Technology for Oak-Mitsui’s FaradFlex ultra-thin embedded capacitance materials and advanced technology VSP copper. Bob has over 32 years of professional experience in the printed circuits, advanced electronic materials, MEM’s, RF modules, and chip packaging. He directs engineering, marketing, and sales worldwide. Led engineering, development, and applications organizations at companies such as Xerox, Toppan, Multi-Fineline Electronix, Rogers Corporation, Flex2Chip Inc, and Panasonic Electronic Materials. He initiated the start-up of 2 major PCB factories in China. Bob studied Chemical & Materials Engineering and Business Management at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, California and Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona and has a BS Degree.

Hamed Kajbaf

Biography: Hamed Kajbaf received the Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Shiraz University in 2006 and received the Master of Science in bioelectric engineering from Tarbiat Modares University in 2009. He received the PhD in electrical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2012. He has previously worked at SpaceX as EMC Design Engineer. He is currently a Principal EMC Engineer at Amber Precision Instruments, San Jose, CA. His research interests include EMC and microwave scanning systems, optimization of RF instrumentation, near-field electromagnetic and acoustic measurements, and array signal processing.

John Kinney

Biography: Kinney is an RF and Microwave Application Engineer for Keysight Technologies. Jon specializes in high frequency instrumentation including signal sources, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers, for a variety of applications. He holds a BSEE from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MSEE from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
