We are excited to announce that our sister  subsidiary, TOYO China, just won a major contract for “Wireless Communication Performance Measurement System for Connected Vehicle” from the Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Certification & Tech Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (SMVIC). The contract is valued at 1.4 million USD, with delivery slated for September 2022.

The ROTOTEST Energy electrical chassis dynamometer is in reality a superior four-quadrant capable engine dynamometer fitted to each drive wheel hub. By utilizing a state-of-the-art 4Q control system and the ROTOTEST Active Inertia technology, the vehicle’s inertia (mass) is simulated electrically for true road conditions.

Last year, we spoke with Mr. Fang Dalong, a Senior Manager of the Platform Division at the “China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (Beijing) Research Institute” (CICV), and asked him to provide us with an update on ADAS and AD technologies in China.
