RC1100

The RC1100 reverberation chamber features reflective metal walls, a positioner, and horizontal and vertical stirrers, creating a multipath reflection environment. This design allows electromagnetic fields to be superimposed from various directions, mathematically achieving a quiet zone. Unlike traditional far-field testing methods, the reverberation chamber does not require the distance between the DUT and the test probe to meet far-field conditions, making it more compact than an anechoic chamber—ideal for space-constrained environments. Additionally, the cost of a reverberation chamber is significantly lower.  Testing in this chamber allows for continuous sampling, resulting in shorter measurement times, especially when conducting numerous tests. The chamber generates a statistically uniform field, eliminating the need for specific DUT placement or orientation, which simplifies the testing process and enhances accuracy, reducing the skill requirements for testing personnel.
